36 Questions That Changed My Mind About You by Vicki Grant.

I got this ebook from free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. If you’re interested in learning anymore about this book I’ll pop the Goodread’s page here: 36 Questions That Changed My Mind About You by Vicki Grant. This book is set to be released October 17th 2017.

This story follows Hildi and Paul, both who are eighteen and both of whom end up in a university psychology study to see if feelings of connections can be encouraged by asking each other 36 questions. Hildi doing this for her interest in psychology, Paul for the $40 pay out on completion. But what will happen with these two?

The answer is not a lot. I wasn’t a fan of this young adult book. This was sold to me as a slow building romance. All this really is, is slow building. The chemistry just wasn’t there for me.

And although there were occasional sweet moments in this mainly I was just bored reading it. I also struggled with how this book is written. The majority of this book is either full on conversation or messaging which is ok but it doesn’t add a lot to the ambiance of the story. It also didn’t really develop anything and just felt like pages of boring information I wasn’t interested in.

The characters were pretty flat and one dimensional. And it’s a shame because I had such high hopes for this book.
